For this weeks photo assignment I chose to pick Nature. Over the weekend I traveled to my cousins house in Ohio and while I was there I thought it would be a great idea to g out into the woods take some really cool pictures. It had just snowed their the night before so it was light, fluffy snow. It was a very cold day so everything was frozen including puddles that were in the woods. I took some very cool pictures and the outcome in my opinion was good. I've been wanting to do Nature but was waiting for the right time, and this weekend was perfect. Nature just seemed really cool to me because you can express what is out there in the world. In one of my pictures there is a old car in the woods, and I was not expecting that to be in the woods. There is a lot of things out there that you don't know about. f/3.5, 1/250, ISO 400
I didn't make many edits to this picture. All I did was I changed the contrast to +100 to make it stand out more. I think it really helped the photo to make it look better and more clear.

For this assignment we did another photoshop picture. We were given a picture of a car and and directions on what to do on it. In this task I learned a lot of more techniques in photoshop and a lot of shortcuts to do the assignment faster. Their were many things we had to do to the car in order to make it look like the demo car picture. This assignment was really fun and challenging. It was fun to work o and I really enjoy working in photoshop.
For the Pop Art assignment it a challenge but it was fun at the same time. It was hard but easy at the same time. I learned more about photoshop and the things you can do in it. I also learned different techniques in photoshop and different ways to use them. I had a lot of fun taking the pictures and learning new ways to edit them.
For this assignment I chose to do macro. This subject seemed really interesting to me because you had to get up very very close. This subject was also pretty difficult to take pictures of because it as hard to focus on the subject of the picture. It took many attempts to get all of the photos right. I had a lot of fun shooting this assignment even though it was difficult at times, the challenge made it fun. f/4.0, 1/200, ISO 125
The editing I did to this photo is I put the temperature to +16 to make it a little lighter, and then I put the exposure to -1.00 to make it darker to have it contrast with the light. For my first photo assignment I chose to shoot pictures of food. I chose food because I have a lot of it and it is actually fun to take pictures of. It was really interesting taking photos of food because you have to find different ways to take them every time. It can be difficult at times but it is the challenge that makes it fun. What I learned in this assignment is you have to have an ope. mind when taking pictures. You have to think hard and choose what is the best idea. f/4.5, 1/60, ISO 100
The editing I did to this photo is I went into camera raw and changed the whites to +50 and the blacks to -100. |
